MLM training tip: Write an effective Author’s Resource Box. You have finished writing your article about some aspect of your MLM Home-Based Business. You spent time researching and writing it. Don’t forget to put an equal amount of time into the Author’s Resource Box. The resource box is 3 to 4 line paragraph at the end of the article. Most writers don’t spend nearly enough time on this very important area of your article. Lets take a closer look at the resource box and why it is so important.
What is it? It is advertisement about you at the end of an article. It is where you can offer the reader more information on the topic or business opportunity. The box can be anywhere from 300 and 500 characters in length. That’s character not words. This is your opportunity to brand yourself, but make sure you give the reader the opportunity to go and see your branded website.
Why is it important? It is important because it is your connection to the reader. It’s the only place allowed, by most article directories, to advertise your MLM business with links. It can drive traffic to your websites. You spent the last 300 to 600 words offering value to the reader it is here that the pay-off of that work is seen. If you have done your job, providing good content, and written a good resource box, creates curiosity, then the reader will more likely click on your links to check out more information.
The author’s resource box has 3 parts. 1) A hook; the first line in the box that causes the reader to stop and look at it. This part creates the curiosity or is written as to blend in with the rest f the article. Most article directories just add the resource box at the end of the article. 2) Anchor Text; this is your money keyword that has a link to your MLM opportunity or a blog site. This is the true focus of the article. 3) Call to Action; don’t forget to tell the reader what you want them to do. People have a tendency to do what they are told; so tell them to click your link or check out your opportunity, etc.

This resource box starts off with anchor text that creates a back link to my original article the keyword “Anchor Text”. This resource box was written for an article about anchor Text. The next line talks about a problem they may have “growing your business” and the solution is present in the third line of the box. The final line is a call to action to visit the anchor text “MLM Training Secrets”
The Author’s Resource Box is a simple, yet powerful part of your article marketing and your MLM Home-Based Business. It has 3-parts a hook, anchor text and a call to action. Spent as much time on it as your do your article, because it is more important to your business than the previous 300 to 600 words.
