Change your mindset to win. I have noticed something with all Top Earners in Online MLM Businesses. They all walk and talk with a confidence that we all think is because they are top earners. It is the other way around. They have confidence in themselves and because of that they are a top earner. You must change your mindset. You must retrain your mind to think like a millionaire. You can’t doubt yourself or your ability. If you do not know how to do Google AdWords or how to publish an eBook then don’t sit there complaining how you don’t know. You need to get out there and learn how to do it. Every inspirational story or movie has the main character being knocked down and over coming long odds. But they never quit they find a way to win. You must do that. Here are three simple steps, simple but definitely not easy.
- Step one is putting the right “stuff” in your head. The old saying goes something like this: You can’t soar with Eagles if you flying around with Ducks. I am not calling your family and friends ducks. But if you are around people who are negative about everything then that attitude will rub-off on you. Commit to your MLM business and plug in to all they have. If they have a morning wake-up call then be on it. Be at the weekly webinars or training calls. Turn off the TV. Talk about a waste dump. Fill the hours, yes hours, each day you sit on the coach with talking to prospects or reading a good book or learning new skills.
- Step Two is educating you in all kinds of fields. Start with your mindset. Read inspiration books on winners in the game of life and business. Begin to model what they do and how they think. Start of with a classic: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. A must read for all Entrepreneurs. Read any of the Robert Kiyosaki or Donald Trump books. T Harv Eker’s Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is another good one. The point is there are hundreds of books that will set your mind on a winning attitude and that is a good place to start. You also need to keep up on marketing techniques. You should be buying training from Top Producers and leading marketers. You will not be a top producer following someone else. You need to learn the basics and apply that training in a new direction.
- Step Three is treating your business like a business. You joined because you hate your job and a person you knew or an ad you answered suggested riches – quick. Next thing you knew you are on a 3-way call with a heavy hitter who is asking if you are ready to be successful and rich. That is a get rich quick mentality. Can that happen – yes it can. But what people do not talk about is the hard work that Top Producer put into their business. The nights they did not sit on the couch and watch TV but called leads or what ever it took to win. They learned their business and product. They honed their skills in marketing, copywriting and video marketing. They put in hundreds of hours to transform themselves into a Top Producer. Success then sprouted from the seeds they planted. They did everything and I mean everything their upline told them to do. They were committed to their business and focus on the goal not on the riches. Your MLM business requires more than a few hours per week to make it work. Yes, you can start off that way but you really need to commit a higher level to build the life you are dreaming of.
If you never quit you are guarantee to win. Print that out in big letters and paste it over your computer r door way. That is the attitude of a winner. It really is a simple formula for success in the MLM industry. Develop right mindset of a winner, educate yourself in your industry and marketing, treat your business like a business. A simple formula that is hard to implement, hard because it will not happen overnight or next week and like all entrepreneurs we are always looking for the next big thing. It can happen by next year with consistent persistent action. Einstein described Insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
